THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : Opposition Leader V S Achuthanandan on Wednesday condoled the death of veteran CPM leader R Umanath. VS said that Umanath was a great leader who had sacrificed his life for the Communist party and trade unions.
CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan said that Umanath was a mass leader and able organiser who worked for uplifting farmers and labourers.
