T-TBI signs MoU with HP

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Technopark-Technology Business Incubator (T-TBI) on Thursday added another enabler for startups looking to achieve global competitiveness by partnering tech major HP for cost-effective and dynamic cloud computing services.

 With this, Technopark-TBI has become the first incubator in India to roll out cloud computing technology for startups and the service is the first for HP in India. HP Enterprise Service  will provide cloud services exclusively to TBI-incubated companies at special, discounted rates through city-based Techpool Consultancy Services.

 K C Chandrasekharan Nair, managing director, T-TBI, signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Regi Mathai, managing director, Techpool at a ceremony at Park Centre, Technopark on Thursday. HP Enterprises Services director Susanta Bhattacharya handed over the HP operation letter to T-TBI CEO Hrishikesh Nair.

 “The service marks a new chapter for TBI and will be able to meet the growing computing infrastructure and data requirements of the incubatees and accelerate technical innovations in the IT sector, Hrishikesh Nair said.

 A seminar was organised by T- TBI in association with Techpool, TBIG and Technopark after the MoU signing to give startups more information about cloud computing and the services on offer. Sudhir Rao, CTO, HP Enterprise Service, pointed out that with cloud, information can be processed and developed from anywhere.

 Chief Cloud Officer G S Moorthy and Technopark CEO K G Girish Babu also spoke at the event.
