THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Trivandrum Orthopaedic Society is conducting a free bone strength check-up on Tuesday at the KGMOA hall at the General Hospital Junction in the city on Tuesday.
The function is being held as part of the National Bone and Joint Day.
An inter-school quiz competition will be conducted at Good Shepherd School, Akkulam, on the same day as part of the function.
Winners will receive Rs 5000, Rs 3000 and Rs 2000 cash prize respectively.
Hundred fruit bearing trees will be planted in hospitals in the district.
Also, a 10-point safety guideline will be submitted to the Road Safety Commissioner at the event along with calls for adopting Karunalayam orphanage model for the health services.
