THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Indian Army is organising a ‘Know Your Army’ event at the Colachal Stadium, Pangode Military station, from August 13 to August 15 to mark the 69th Independence Day celebrations.
A display of weapons and equipment along with screening of movies on the Army is planned from 10 am to 6 pm on August 13 and 14. A blood donation camp is being organised on the occasion.
A grand military band display is also planned at the venue from 10 am to 11 am on August 15.
Station Commander, Brigadier Samir Salunke, will inaugurate the event on August 13 at 10 am. The event is open to public on all three days.
