Phd Degree Awarded to Lecturer

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: R Vijayalatha was awarded Phd by Kerala University for her research on the subject ‘old age and the modern Kerala society’ and a compilation of short stories from 1980. She did her research under the guidance of N Rajendran, former head, Department of Malayalam, MSM college, Kayamkulam. Vijayalatha, at present works as a guest lecturer at Mar Ivanious College and is the wife of Jayaprakash. She is a native of Manaloor, Neyyattinkara.
