Website of Global Meet Opened by Kodiyeri Balakrishnan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan on Wednesday inaugurated the website of the fourth International Conference on Kerala Studies being organised by the party.

Kodiyeri said the conference was aimed at formulating a development plan for the state. Discussions at the conference will be considered while preparing the manifesto for the next Assembly polls. The output of the conference will be discussed in all units of the party.

“Five hundred experts from different parts of the world will lead the classes at the event to be attended by 1,500 delegates,” AKG Research Centre Director Thomas Isaac MLA said. Web and social media committee chairman P M Manoj welcomed the gathering and convenor T Gopakumar paid a vote of thanks. Information on the congress, theses at the district-level seminars and online registration of delegates are available on the website. Daily updates on the congress will be offered on the website.  There will be 48 parallel sessions on the study congress to be held at St Joseph’s School here on January 9, 10, 2016.
