Splendour Pro Classic - the new variant of its magnum opus ‘Splendour’ from Hero Motocorps - is becoming popular with its vintage look. The single-seater motorcycle is getting a good response from youngsters. The main attraction of the new model, launched in last November, is its structure. The two-wheeler, which resembles Royal Enfield’s Continetal model, has an ex-showroom price of Rs 51,200.

The very first vintage version from the Indian automaker has a cafe racer styling with single seat offers. Instead of the pillion seat there is a vintage style cafe cowl. Another attractive feature is the classic speedometer, which too gives a classic look. The vintage style graphics and classic chrome finish are the add-on features of the new model. The air-cooled 4-stroke single cylinder 97.2 cc engine of the motorcycle produces a maximum power of 6.15 kW (8.36 Ps) @ 8000 rpm, while the maximum torque is set as 0.82 kg-m (8.05 N-m) @5000 rpm. Tubular double cradle type chassis is fixed in the motorcycle.

The other attractive elements are sporty handle bar, classic round headlight and round tall lights along with maintenance-free battery. The maximum playload weight of the vehicle is 130 kg, while the kerb weight is 109 kg. When we look at the dimensions of the vehicle, the length is 1935 mm, the width is 720 mm. The height is fixed as 1230 mm. As the ground clearance is 180 mm, the classic will be a good option for ride to hilly roots. The rim size is 18 x 1.60 (spoke wheel) and the tyre size is 2.75 x 18-42 P/4 PR (unidirectional tyre).

The front portion has telescopic hydraulic shock absorber, while the rear part has swing arm with 5-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorber. To be precise, the Splendour Pro Classic will be a good option for roadies for their long-joy trips.
