Health Club Holds Awareness Class

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Wishbone Health club, which was recently inaugurated at Kuravankonam, convened its first health awareness session and a demonstration for fitness enthusiasts the other day.  Home makers, doctors, teachers and other fitness enthusiasts attended.

Dr Lalitha Appukuttan, the brain behind  Wishbone organic restaurant and health club,  stressed on the importance of organic and healthy cooking today and that the occurrence of lifestyle diseases can be curtailed only by adapting an organic diet.Informative sessions were given on the usage of oil, ghee, milk and milk products, nuts and on preparing healthy dishes using various combinations of veggies ,mushrooms,corn, beetroot etc. The health club committee president Radha Panicker, vice president Dr G Sugeetha, secretary Rajani Nair, joint secretary Girija Rajashekaran and the executive members were also present.
