Express News Service

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CMP will organise agitations across the state on September 26 against corruption and price hike of essential commodities. The agitation in the capital city would be held in front of the Consumerfed’s regional office.

Stating that the price of all essential commodities has jumped in the last one week, CMP leader G Sugunan said the increase of prices of all commodities have dealt a big blow to the common man.

He also said that Consumerfed, which has been established to provide people with essential commodities at nominal price,  has now become an abode of corruption. The Chief Minister, Cooperation Minister and Home Minister have been protecting the corrupt chairman, alleged Sugunan.
