Soorya Festival to Showcase Two Interesting Film Fests

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Around 70 films will be screened in the two film festivals to be held as part of the Soorya festival this year. Around 20 films screened in IFFK 2015 and 50 famous films in Malayalam, Hindi and Sanskrit languages have been included in the festival.

The screenings are from 5 pm and from 7.15 pm at the Co-Bank Tower auditorium starting Thursday.

‘Wolf Totem’ (China), ‘Tangerine’ (USA), ‘Taxi’ (Iran), ‘Mustang’ (Turkey), ‘Youth’ (Italy) ‘The Assassin; (Taiwan), ‘Diary of a Chambermaid’ (Belgium), ‘The Second Mother’ (Brazil), ‘Everything will be Fine’ (Canada), ‘Magical Girl’ (Spain), ‘Our Little Sister’ (Japan),  ‘Mountains may Depart’ (China), ‘Victoria’ (Germany), ‘Enclave’ (Serbia), ‘Mia Madre’ (Italy), ‘Brand New Testament’ (France), ‘Thread of Lies’ (South Korea), ‘Labyrinth of Lies’ (Germany), ‘Ode to My Father’ (South Korea) and ‘Marshland’ (Spain) will be screened.

The Malayalam films to be screened are, ‘Pathemari, Premam,  Ayal Njanalla, Lord Livingston 7,000 Kandi, Valiyachirakulla Pakshikal, Saigal Padukayanu, Salt Mango Tree, Munroe Thuruth, My Life Partner, Kunhiramayanam,  Rani Padmini, Jumnapyari, Love 24x7, Joe and the Boy,  Chayampooshiya Veedu,  Charley, Ozhivudivasathe Kali, Kattum Mazhayum,  Anarkali, Ennu Ninte Moideen, Malgudy Days, Action Hero Biju, Pavada, Su..su..Sudhi Valmikam’  and ‘Maheshinte Prathikaram.’  ‘Priyamanasam’ (Sanskrit), ‘Airlift, Bajirao Masthani, Piku, Titli’ (Hindi) are the other films are to be screened.
