THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government has issued orders to revise the wages of prisoners engaged in various closed and open prisons in the state. The prisoners of closed prison will get `146 as daily wages, an increase from `110. Prisoners in open jail will get an increase from `148 to `200. The basic wages of skilled workers in closed prison will be `132. Apprentices will get `55 as wages.
