Junior badminton league on July 30 at Greenfield

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Karyavattom Sports Facilities Limited (KSFL) - Tenvic Sports Coaching Academy, based at the Greenfield International Stadium in Kariavattom here, will conduct the KSFL - Tenvic Junior Badminton League at the academy on July 30. 

The tournament is being conducted in association with the Kerala Shuttle Badminton Association and is part of the grassroots development project of the academy which has completed a year of functioning. 
The Junior Badminton League will see the participation of youngsters aged between six and 17 years with the competition being held in under-10, under-13, under-15 and under-17 age categories for both boys and girls. 

The academy is also planning to conduct a weekly badminton league for the trainees of the academy on every Sundays. The academy which commenced operations on April 20, 2016, provides coaching in disciplines like cricket, football, swimming, badminton, basketball, table tennis and chess.  
“The academy offers the best possible sporting infrastructure and coaching to the children as well as adults of the city. We are now aiming to achieve the best for our trainees by planning for Sunday league in all sports,” said the academy.
