THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Forest Minister K Raju will lay the foundation stone for the Centre for Wildlife Sciences at the Chief Disease Investigation Office, Palode, on Thursday.

An oncology division for early cancer detection in animals and a project for treating rabies in cattle will also be unveiled. District panchayat president V K Madhu will unveil the cattle pregnancy detection kit and A Sampath MP will inaugurate the cancer diagnosis lab.

Nanniyode grama panchayat president V V Ajith Kumar will release the revised rabies prevention protocol. A wildlife album also will be released at the function at which the Chief Disease Investigation Office will be renamed State Institute for Animal Diseases. D K Murali MLA will preside over the function.
