Case against temple committees for allegedly using loud-speakers beyond permissible limits

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The city police have registered cases against temple festival committee members and loudspeaker operators for allegedly using loud-speakers at a volume above the permissible limits at various places in the city.     

The cases were registered against the committee members of Sreekanteshwaram temple under Vanchiyoor police station, Gowreeshapattom temple under the Medical College police and Jawahar Balasubramaniya temple under the Museum police station.The cases were registered based on the findings of the report of a special squad deputed by District Collector K Vasuki.
