VIJAYAWADA: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan performed house-warming of the new house he took on rent in Vijayawada on Friday. Accompanied by his wife, Pawan, who was dressed in a traditional attire, entered the house without much fanfare. Only a few of his close associates were present on the occasion. The house, which is a three-storeyed building with ample lawn space, is located in Patamata Lanka of the city.

The actor-turned-politician, who performed Bhumi Puja for his party headquarters in March, has decided to have a house in Vijayawada on a temporary basis, till his party office-cum-residence in Mangalagiri gets ready for occupation. According to sources, Pawan Kalyan, who had been staying in hotels during his visits to the city, decided to have his own place in Vijayawada to be near the capital city Amaravati and coordinate with the party cadre.
