VIJAYAWADA: In a tragic incident, an engineering student was killed in a road mishap in Movva mandal of Krishna district on Sunday. The youth died on the spot after he lost control over his speeding two-wheeler and slipped.
The deceased was identified as Junnu Murali Krishna (21), a student of Gudlavalleru Engineering College, and the incident took place when he was on his way to Narasampalem from Movva. The police said Junnu was reportedly riding at high speed on Barlapudi-Narsampalem highway when he lost control over his vehicle.
As a result, he received severe injuries on his head and shoulder and broke his ribs too. He died owing to severe head injuries, a police official said.
