Jagan Mohan Reddy's Praja Sankalpa Yatra completes 199 days, all set to create a record

The walkathon is currently going through East Godavari district and on the 200th day, Jagan will be touring Amalapuram constituency, which he entered on Tuesday.

VIJAYAWADA: Leader of Opposition and YSRC party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy, who set out on his Praja Sankalpa Yatra on November 6, 2017, has completed 199 days on the road. The walkathon is currently going through East Godavari district and on the 200th day, Jagan will be touring Amalapuram constituency, which he entered on Tuesday.

The yatra, which is to culminate at Ichchapuram in Srikakulam district, has so far covered 2,400 km stretched across 10 districts in the last 199 days. When Praja Sankalpa Yatra entered West Godavari district on May 13, a 40-feet pylon was constructed to commemorate the completion of 2,000 km.

During his walkathon in the district, about 1,000 petitions from people were submitted to him. Many influential persons have joined the party in the last eight months of Praja Sankalpa Yatra. The figure stands at 200 in the last month alone.
