VIJAYAWADA: A 20-year-old woman committed suicide by jumping into Krishna river at Punnami Ghat under Bhavanipuram police station limits on Tuesday.The deceased, Munagara Mounika, was identified as a resident of Vidyadharpuram and family disputes were believed to be the reasons behind her hasty decision, according to Bhavanipuram police. Police said Mounika got married to Krishna 16 months ago. The couple resided in a rented house.
