VIJAYAWADA: Sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted raids on the sub-registrar’s office in Nuzvid on Monday and found `47,500 which was unaccounted, from their possession.
According to officials, they received a tip-off that the government employees at the office were indulging in corruption. During the raids, officials found that the office employees used to hire private persons and document writers during registrations. They used to take money from people who came to the office and it was later shared among the staff.
