VIJAYAWADA: A 12-year-old boy lodged a complaint against his parents, alleging that they tortured him by burning his leg with an immersion rod in Machilipatnam town on Tuesday. The news went viral on social media. After contacting the parents, police found out that the boy, who is irregular to school, had run away from home and made up the entire.
They accepted the boy was scolded for avoiding to go to school. As per Robertsonpet police, the boy came to the PS on Tuesday at 9 pm and asked the police to take action against his parents.
