VIJAYAWADA: BJP national executive member and MLC Somu Veerraju on Monday said the State Icons Awards-2026, to be organised under the theme ‘Mana Amaravati,’ would showcase AP’s prestige and promote Amaravati as a global brand.
The awards, organised by the Global Icons Forum Society, will be presented at Hyatt Place, Gunadala, on August 8. Society president Chaitanya Janga praised Chief Minister’s efforts to develop Amaravati and said the theme was chosen to enhance the Amaravti’s identity.
