HYDERABAD: While the aspirants of the Grand Alliance tickets wait in trepidation for the first part of the candidate list to be released, the State BJP unit has reportedly been fishing for potential turncoats from the alliance. It is learnt that the saffron party would leave its doors wide open to all those disgruntled defectors from the Mahakutami whose names didn’t make it to the list.

Now that the party has released its first list of 38 candidates, BJP think tanks are stitching up the second list which reportedly would be dominated by well-known faces of businessmen and industrialists. However, it seems BJP is not quite satisfied with that. Playing the waiting game, the saffron party is set to rope in some powerful defectors who would turn votes in their favour. An inside source from the party revealed that the party is, in fact, biding its time before the release of their second list.
