TRS party supremo and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, known for his oratory skills, spared no time on Tuesday to hit back at prime minister Narendra Modi for his criticism of former's governance. Speaking at Mahabubnagar and Wanaparthy, soon after the PM finished his speech, Rao questioned Modi on his alleged power and drinking water crisis in the state.

Modi while speaking at his maiden public meeting in the State ahead of ensuing elections had come all guns blazing against KCR attacking his governance, personal beliefs and past friendship with Congress leveling a slew of allegations.

"Are you blind? Cant you witness the development in the State? Or reading out script prepared by someone else. Modi is such a foolish prime minister. Anyhow I am not Chandrababu Naidu. I am not scared of Modi," said Rao. "As prime minister of the country", Rao thundered, "you should not spread lies. Telangana is number one in per capita power consumption. You cannot make allegations for the sake of votes."

The CM also alleged that Narendra Modi and Chandrababu Naidu conspired against Telangana State to destabilise the state and dethrone the government. "It was Asad Owaisi who informed me about the ploy by Modi and Babu. Asad immediately offered TRS support and we are friendly parties," said Rao.

On Modi's personal dig at Rao's religious beliefs, he retorted asking what was Modi's financial losses in it. "I believe in God. What is your loss? I do my pujas and whoever visits is offered prasad and food. What is your problem?," he asked Modi.
