A new hilarious teleserial ‘Akkare Ikkare’ about a colony, whose inhabitants are families of Gulf expatriates, from Monday to Friday on Asianet channel at 12.30 p.m. This serial, meant to make you laugh and also think about this group of people, will be teleacst at 11 p.m. from Wednesday to Saturday for the non-resident Malayalis too.

A new satirical programme ‘Abi’s corner’ will be telecast on Asianet Plus every Saturday at 8 p.m. Included in this programme are three sections - Chakkaramukku chayakkada, phone-in comedy and nonsense news. Comedy artists Abi and Kalabhavan Hanif take the lead roles in the programme.

Music

Asianet Plus scores a perfect double century through the musical programme Musical chair. The programme, which connects the college campuses in the state with music is said to have become a hit with the student crowd. The Musical Chair is telecast every Sunday at 6 p.m.

‘Chamaram’ a programme about those who decided to take the lonely path of music is being telecast every Sunday at 8 p.m. on Asianet news channel. V.T.Murali, Jerry Amaldev, Ayiroor Sadasivan and Selma George are some of the personalities featured in the programme.

Religion

The Sivarathri Day will see a dance drama ‘Om Nava Shivaya’ at 6.30 a.m., Praleyasmitham Kailasam at 8 a.m. comedy serial ‘Enkilum ente Gopalakrishna’ at 1 p.m. and interview with cinestar Arya at 4 p.m. On the Sivarathri day, Asianet will also telecast two films - ‘Njangal Santhushtaranu’ at 9 a.m. and ‘Karutha pakshi’ at 1.30 p.m.
