Manivannan’s son to marry Lankan Tamil girl

Veteran director and actor Manivannan, who has given many hit films in his career, is currently directing his 50th film, Nagaraja Cholan MA, MLA, a sequel to his Amaidhi Padai. Now, the ace director has every reason to be doubly happy.

His son, actor Raghuvannan, will soon by tying the knot with Abhi, a Sri Lankan Tamil girl.

The engagement ceremony took place on March 10 at a simple function at a star hotel in the city, and was attended by close family members and friends.

Raghuvannan debuted as an actor in Maaran, in which he shared screen space with actor Sathyaraj. Now he is acting as hero in both Nagaraja Cholan MA, MLA and his father’s next directorial venture, Thaalattu Machi Thaalattu, as well.

The wedding of Raghuvannan and Jaffna-based Abhi, will take place in June this year.
