MUMBAI: "Qubool Hai" fame actress Surbhi Jyoti will feature in a cameo in “Ishqbaaaz”. She says being a part of the show is “like coming back home”.
“Ishqbaaaz”, aired on Star Plus, tells the story of three brothers - Shivaaay (Nakuul Mehta), Omkara (Kunal Jaisingh) and Rudra (Leenesh Mattoo).
“Working in 'Ishqbaaaz' is like going back home for me. I've worked with the same team in my previous show ('Qubool Hai') and it's the same team this time round too, I couldn't have asked for more,” Surbhi said in a statement.
She will be seen playing the role of an independent businesswoman. Her character will be called Mallika Kabeer Choudhary, an architect by profession.
She added: “My role is of an extremely strong and independent girl who runs her own business. She is a girl of the current generation and girls will relate to my character. I'm also excited about reuniting with my really close friends Surbhi Chandna and Nehalaxmi Iyer who were also part of my previous show.”
Surbhi is "really excited" to be part of her "dream team" again.
