NEW DELHI: Delhi police on Friday arrested famous designer Rohit Bal after he allegedly thrashed his neighbour in a brawl. According to the police, immediately after his arrest he was released on bail from the police station.
Cops are claiming that complainant identified as Iqbal Singh told the cops that Bal was trying to encroach his parking which triggered the incident.
"Singh, a resident of Defence colony filed a complaint that during wee hours Rohit Bal along with Lalit Kumar, Ramesh and Pramod forcefully entered complainant 's house under influence of liquor and threatened the complainant and created a ruckus," DCP South Ishwar Singh said. "After getting the Complaint, Bal was arrested," the DCP said.
Cops have filed a case under two IPC section including trespass. "Bal was unhappy after he couldn't manage to park his vehicle. He initially threatened guard and later went inside the complainant's house and threatened him," a police official said.
Rohit Bal is a famous Delhi based designer.
