MUMBAI: The 19th edition of the IIFA awards will be graced by a dance performance by the veteran actress, Rekha who will be seen performing on stage after 20 years.
Varun Dhawan made the announcement yesterday in Mumbai at IIFA'S press conference and said that he is eagerly waiting for the "highlight" of the ceremony.
When asked which songs she would be performing on, the veteran actor said, "I have a second name- mystery."
Apart from Rekha's special performance, IIFA will witness several Bollywood stars including Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon and Iulia Vantur performing on stage.
The 2018 version of IIFA is to be held in Bangkok from 22 to 24 June at Siam Niramit Theatre.
Karan Johar and Ritesh Deshmukh will be hosting the main event, whereas 'IIFA Rocks' will be hosted by Kartik Aaryan and Ayushmann Khurrana.
A special medley section has been planned with music director, Pritam along with Sreerama Chandra, Amit Mishra, Shalmali Kholgade, Antara Mitra, Nakash Aziz and Nikitha.
Actors Vaani Kapoor and Nushrat Bharucha will also be seen performing.
