LOS ANGELES: Actress Emma Watson has hit on ‘Twilight’ movies, insisting the ‘Harry Potter’ films are not "selling sex" like the vampire franchise.

The 22-year-old actress, who reprises her role as Hermione in the upcoming "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows: Part I," bashed the rival franchise.

"This kiss between Hermione and Ron is highly anticipated, it's been building up for eight films now. And 'Harry Potter' is not 'Twilight' you know, we're not selling sex," she was quoted saying.

Watson had been addressing the long-gestating romance between Hermione and Ron, leading up to a kiss which is a fan favorite from the book, but was uncomfortable for her and Grint to film.

"In fact, it was horribly awkward; we couldn't stop laughing."
