WASHINGTON DC: American singer Britney Spears recently announced on Twitter that she will make a guest appearance in the upcoming second season of comedy show ‘Jane the Virgin’.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 33-year-old singer, who will appear in the fifth episode, wrote, “See u at the Marbella Hotel soon, @hereisgina @jaimecamil! Guest starring on one of my favorite shows EVER @CWJaneTheVirgin #DreamComeTrue,”.
The ‘I Wanna Go’ singer will star as the nemesis of Jane’s dad, telenovela star Rogelio De La Vega.
In addition to the singer’s prolific pop career, Spears’ acting credits include movies such as ‘Crossroads’, ‘Glee’, ‘Will and Grace’ and a two-episode stint on ‘How I Met Your Mother.’
