NEW DELHI: Hollywood heartthrob Tom Cruise’s mother passed away last week.
Cruise's mother Mary Lee South died peacefully in her sleep last week, as reported by People magazine. The 54 year old star attended the memorial service along with his sisters Lee Ann DeVette, 57, Cass Mapother, 55, and Marian Henry, 52.
Her marriage to Mapother was tumultuous. Cruise told People in 2006 that his father was 'a bully'. Mary Lee ended the marriage in 1974.
The service was held at their local Church of Scientology and was attended by close friends and family.
