The twitter account of Talinda Bennington, widow of Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington, was hacked less than 24 hours after his death.

The hacker claimed that Talinda had an affair with Linkin Park member Mike Shinoda, and that she was "glad" he committed suicide.

Many Linkin Park fans pleaded with the hacker to remove the posts. In 20 minutes, the tweets were taken down. Two more tweets came up again but were shortly removed.

The couple has faced similar nuisances in the past.

In 2008, a cyberstalker was jailed for two years for tampering with their emails and sending out threatening messages.
