LOS ANGELES: Singer Halsey and rapper G-Eazy have separated after a year of dating.
In a message posted on her Instagram Story, Halsey said both of them are "taking some time apart" and that she wished G-Eazy "the best".
"I normally keep this kind of thing private but provided our public nature I feel the need to inform my fans.
G-Eazy and I are taking some time apart," the singer wrote.
"I'm eager to continue the upcoming passage of time dedicating myself to my art and my career, and the duration of my tour.
I wish him the best. Thanks for respecting our privacy at this time," she added.
Halsey, 23, and G-Eazy, 29, began dating last year and publicly acknowledged their relationship in September. They also collaborated for the single "Him & I" in December.
