LOA ANGELES: Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston has criticised Donald Trump's vice-presidential candidate JD Vance over his alleged controversial remark against Democrats.

Vance's remark from a 2021 interview has been going viral, where he referred to now the Democratic Presidential nominee Kamala Harris and several others as "people without children".

As per Deadline, he said the U.S. was being run by "a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they've made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too."

These remarks evoked a strong reaction from Aniston.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote, "All I can say is... Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day."

Aniston, generally very private, has shared about her IVF struggles in the past and coming to accept that "we are complete with or without a mate, with or without a child."

Of Vance's two-year-old daughter, Aniston wrote today, "I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option. Because you are trying to take that away from her, too."

Vance has three children, sons Ewan, 6, Vivek, 4 and daughter Mirabel, 2.

Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris, one of those whom Vance dubbed as "childless cat ladies," spoke about Vance's stances on IVF and abortion in a Kalamazoo, MI campaign speech last week, as per Deadline.

"Understand, this is a fellow who -- in the United States Senate -- participated in blocking protections for IVF. This is an individual who has made every indication that he is for a national abortion ban," said Harris.
