Netflix announced that the second season of Avatar: The Last Airbender, will premiere on June 25. Based on Nickelodeon's animated series of the same name, the first season premiered in 2024.

Avatar: The Last Airbender follows the same format as the animated series, which over three seasons, followed the journey of Aang, the only person who can bend (control) all four elements: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, in a world of benders that can bend only one of those elements. Like the animated series, the upcoming second season of the Netflix show, will follow Aang (Gordon Cormier), as he tries to master Earth bending.

The cast of the second season also includes Kiawentiio, Ian Ousley, Miya Cech, Dallas Liu, Elizabeth Yu, Momona Tamada, Thalia Tran, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, and Daniel Dae Kim, among others.

Netflix's Avatar: The Last Airbender, is developed by Albert Kim, who also serves as an executive producer, backing the series under his Albert Kim Pictures. Nickelodeon and Rideback are the banners backing the series.
