Vishal has reasons to smile. The actor’s latest film ‘Vedi’, which has just hit screens, seems to have made his fans happy.
Says the actor, who plays a cop in the film, “Prabhu Deva sir has paid attention to subtlety in this film. He has a gift. The first thing he observes in a hero is the body language of the hero and whether it suits the character in the script.” The film, which is a remake of the Telugu hit ‘Shouryam’, has Sameera Reddy playing the female lead opposite him.
But why does he keep going back to action thrillers?
Vishal says, “I look to work on different genres. I don’t want to be typecast into one particular style and that is why I chose to do this movie after Bala’s ‘Avan Ivan’. As for an action thriller, everybody loves action movies. These days, even the ladies love action films!”
The actor had plans of directing a film initially. When does he intend to direct his film? Smiles Vishal, “I haven’t decided yet. Every time I decide to direct, something good happens and my attention gets drawn to it, forcing me to postpone my decision to direct. However, initially, when I started out, I wanted to make a movie with Vijay as the hero.”
