Ilayathalapathy’s biggest fan now plays solo hero

Vathsan, who appeared in small roles in films like Engeyum Eppodhum and Vathikuchi, turns full-fledged hero in an upcoming film titled Apple Penne. A diehard fan of Vijay, Vathsan has already produced a music album about the actor. Recently, Vathsan met Vijay to get his blessings after bagging the solo hero role in Apple Penne.

Directed by R K Kalaimani, who has helmed films like Super Kudumbam and Yengal Aasaan, Apple Penne is said to revolve around the mother-daughter relationship.

Roja plays an owner of an eatery and actor Thambi Ramaiah plays a constable. Mani Sharma has scored music and KGP Films has produced the film. Apple Penne is currently under production.
