Actor Jeevan, who shot to limelight with Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Kaakha Kaakha, will next be seen in a film titled Athibar.
Talking to City Express, Jeevan says, “Athibar, as the name suggests, is about a person in power. In this case, I play the owner of a company, who returns home from a foreign country. He rises to the top but then, due to a breach of trust, loses all that he has. How he bounces back is what the story is all about. The story is based on a real-life incident.”
Directed by Surya Prakash of Maayi fame, the film has Vidya Pradeep playing the female lead. The film also has a big star cast that includes Samudrakani, Thambi Ramaiah, Nanda, Ranjith, Richard and Kovai Sarala. So what made Jeevan pick this story to make his comeback? “The script of this film is what got me hooked on to this project. The story of this film is of the kind that I haven’t done in my career before and that is why I am kicked about this project,” he signs off.
