Ranna Makes its Way to the Swiss Alps

Sudeep will sport a different look all through the six songs in the film and they will soon be the talk of town, showing the actor in a new light.

A Sharadhaa

The Sudeep starrer Ranna, which is among the most anticipated films of Sandalwood in 2015, is finally wrapping its shoot. There is only one song sequence pending for which the crew is flying to Switzerland. Nanda Kishore, the director of the film, recently completed a romantic track for the film which was shot in a dhaba and featured Sudeep and Rachita Ram.

According to Nanda Kishore, Sudeep will sport very different looks in the six songs in the film and they will soon be the talk of town. He says, “I didn’t want to project Sudeep in the regular way, especially in the songs, where he is usually quite restrained. The audience will find a certain freshness to his personality.”

The director emphasises that the film, which is a remake of Telugu super hit, Attarintiki Daredi is ‘not a remake alone and has been completely remade’. “The story was considered because of its strength but it is designed to our taste. The plus point is the casting, which has worked very well. As I complete the shoot in Switzerland, I will be ready with the first copy because I am completing the post-production activities simultaneously,” he says. Kishore is hopeful to release Ranna in April first week.
