Mass Maharaja set for Diwali Explosion

Express News Service

After the debacle of Kick 2, actor Ravi Teja is looking to bounce back with Sampath Nandi’s upcoming commercial entertainer Bengal Tiger. The film’s shooting has been completed and the makers are eyeing a Diwali release, after shying away from a packed October. The makers have announced that the film’s audio will be launched on October 17 before it hit screens worldwide on November 5.

“The shooting has been completed and the film is currently in the post-production stage. Ravi Teja has once again returned in a spectacular role in Bengal Tiger, which is packed with all the commercial elements that one expects from a Ravi Teja film,” revealed KK Radha Mohan, the film’s producer.

Mohan, who’s producing the film under his Sri Satya Sai Arts banner, admits to have backed out of a Dasara release owing to other big films releasing at that time.

“We initially planned to release the film for Dasara but since films like Bruce Lee and Akhil will be releasing during this period, so we have decided to release it on Diwali instead. The audio will be launched for Dasara and the movie release will hit screens on November 5,” Mohan added.

Directed by Sampath Nandi, Bengal Tiger also features Tamannaah Bhatia and Raashi Khanna in important roles.
