If the grapevine is anything to go by, GV Prakash, who has an impressive line-up of projects including Adangathey, 4G, Sarvam Thala Mayam, a film with Rambala and another one with Sasi of Pichaikkaran (2016) fame, is likely to act under Vetrimaaran’s direction soon. We also hear that this untitled flick might be produced by Sri Green Productions. However, official confirmation is awaited. Prakash has composed music for Vetrimaaran’s Polladhavan (2007), Aadukalam (2011) and Visaranai (2016).

Meanwhile, Vetrimaaran, who’s occupied with Vada Chennai trilogy has confirmed that the second schedule of the film will resume in the first week of March. This tweet came as a response for those who thought Vada Chennai was put on hold. Since Dhanush signed back-to-back projects — Power Paandi and VIP-2, besides a few production commitments, everyone assumed that  the project was temporarily dropped.  Also, reports suggest that Vada Chennai shooting will extensively be
in Royapuram.
