The duo, Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, was in town for promoting their upcoming movie 'Teri Meri Kahaani'.
During the promo, Priyanka Chopra was in a mood of celebrating love. According to her, she had a tough time playing the role based on the era of 1910 in 'Teri Meri Kahaani'. She said, “It was a bit tough for me because during that time there were no Indian movies. Hence, I had no reference and could not relate to the time. However, the genius in director Kunal Kohli worked and I could get the accent and body language right.” She added, “'Teri Meri Kahaani' is a love story after all and the language of love has always been same in all the eras, the feelings are same; only the way of expression has changed. So, you will see the same aspect of love in this movie too.”
As Shahid talked about his role in the movie he was bombarded with marriage related questions.
In an interview, he had said that he will soon be married but when we quizzed him to confirm his statement he said, “It was a situational statement and was said to avoid further queries.” He added, “I really have no idea why people are behind my marriage. In fact, my parents are least bothered. I assure you, the day I meet the right person, I will stand on the roof top holding her hand and scream to the world that I want to marry to this girl standing besides me.”
