The first look of Varun Dhawan-starrer "Badlapur" is out, and it looks like a hardcore action thriller. One can't help but notice its uncanny resemblance to the poster of the Hollywood film "300" with Gerard Butler though. In fact, Varun sports a similar beard and strikes the same pose, except he holds up a hammer instead of a sword.
Also Varun is shirtless just like Butler and is even seeing giving the same expressions as he screams out.
Even though we like the poster, with its eerie feel and drama, we wish it was a lot more original, considering director Sriram Raghavan is associated with it.
A copied poster often gives out the idea that film too may take liberties. Let's hope the film is a lot more original than its poster.
"Badlapur" also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi, Yami Gautam and Radhika Apte in important roles.
