NEW DELHI: Bollywood hit- machine Arijit Singh was once a struggler who made it big with the help of a singing reality show.

The 28-year-old singer won everyone’s hearts even if he could not make it to the finals of the reality show.

However, Arijit, who made his debut in 2010 with ‘Phir Mohabbat’, has his opinion on singing reality shows and playback singing in movies.

The singer feels there is a huge difference between the two.

In an exclusive interview with ANI, the ‘Gerua’ hit-maker said, “Coming from a reality show doesn’t make a difference as you need to do what you need to do. In reality shows, you have to perform once and prove yourself and after that it is a process to prove yourself every day.”

“I have been lucky enough to get good songs and I am glad people are liking my songs”, added Arijit.

The singer was in national capital to mesmerise his fans as a part of Radio Mirchi Live concert.

The Bollywood singer enthralled the audience with his back-to-back hit numbers like ‘Tum Hi Ho’, ‘Kabira’, ‘Baaton Ko Teri’ and his latest ‘Gerua’ from ‘Dilwale’.
