Deepika Padukone apparently had to let go of Anand L Rai’s next film, featuring Shah Rukh Khan. Earlier after a lot of speculations about who would be with SRK in the film it was reported that Deepika and Katrina Kaif will be part of the film.
However, latest buzz suggests that she is no longer part of the film. A source says, “Since Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati has been delayed, Deepika had to allot dates to him and could not accommodate Anand’s film. She apparently liked the concept, but now she may not be able to do it.”
Although the director had never really confirmed his star cast of the film, there have been a lot of rumours about who will play lead opposite Shah Rukh in this two heroine project.
It is said that one of the leads will play an actress while another one will play a parallel lead.
Shah Rukh plays a dwarf in the film and the film is slated to go on floor by end of this year, as the director is aiming to release it on Christmas day next year.
