NEW DELHI: After treating the audience with a rendition of the evergreen chartbuster 'Kaavaan Kaavaan', the makers of ‘Lucknow Central’ are all set to release the second song titled 'Meer-E-Kaarwan' on August 9.

'Meer-E-Kaarwan' is sung by Amit Mishra and Neeti Mohan, written by Adheesh Verma and composed by Rochak Kohli and is touted to be a heartwarming number that would grow on to the listener.

'Lucknow Central' showcases Farhan Akhtar aka Kishen Mohan Girhotra as an aspiring Bhojpuri singer, who gets caught up in a tragedy that changes his life forever. 

The film is set against the backdrop of a jail that thrives on ambition, passion, friendship, and determination.

The trailer of the film and the earlier released song ‘Kaavaan Kaavaan’ has generated immense excitement amongst the audience. 

'Lucknow Central' also stars Diana Penty, Deepak Dobriyal, Ronit Roy, Gippy Grewal, Rajesh Sharma, Inaamulhaq, Uday Tikekar and Sukh Kunwar to name a few.

Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Emmay Entertainment and Motion Pictures, the film is directed by Ranjit Tiwari and is slated to release on September 15.
