"I cannot cook to save my life," admits Taapsee. She eats gluten free food and has a weakness for cakes.
My diet preference: I am a non-vegetarian but not a hard core one. I enjoy my vegetarian meals as well. In non-vegetarian fare I enjoy all kinds of meats whereas in vegetarian food I am very fond of muttar paneer. I enjoy street food especially chhole bhature, aloo tiki and the chaats one get in Delhi.
I begin my morning with: Almonds, walnuts, figs and a litre of water.
For breakfast: I have a glass of carrot juice mixed with beetroot and gooseberry, an omelette made of egg whites with some gluten free bread and some hash browns. Or I enjoy having pav bhaji with gluten free bread.
My lunch:
I can go with any cuisine. I don't eat rotis because I avoid gluten. I also avoid yoghurt. So I have dal and sabzi if I am at home.
My dinner: I like to finish between seven and eight. I have very few carbs like a small helping of rice with dals or a chicken dish.
My favourite desserts: I am a huge huge fan of all types of cakes, I commit the sin of eating cake once a week. I love tiramisu.
My favourite cuisines: North Indian food is my all-time favourite and I also like French, Italian and Asian cuisine.
My favourite cook: My mom
I keep fit: By playing squash; that's the only workout which I enjoy.
I resemble: Water. It heats up and cools very quickly. Also it takes the shape of the surroundings easily.
My favourite spice: Green chilli.
My favourite beverage: Fresh juices.
My favourite kitchen appliance: Juicer.
My favourite dish: Chole bhature or gol gappe.
My childhood memory of food: I loved potatoes in any form be it French fries or aloo gobi.
My idea of a romantic meal: French cuisine is ideal for a romantic meal.
