Lisa Ray is playing Adil Hussain’s wife in Dobaara. The actress admits that she is not a fan of this genre but liked the script and ended up becoming friends with co-star Adil Hussain. Lisa says, “Adil is one of the finest actors that we have.
We have bonded well on the sets and it was wonderful experience to work with him. The common link between us was theatre. I have trained in theatre at London. I learnt a lot of things from him and consider him as my guru. I still call him to know how to prepare for a particular role. He has a lot to share.”
Asked her if she would want to get into direction in future, she says, “Yes I would want to direct as well as write in future. At the moment I am working on a memoir. I do have some film offers then I have my art and poems and my personal life. So it is bit difficult to divide time. I want to compile poems and get it published. But I have to wait till my memoir is published.”
