MUMBAI: Veteran actor Hema Malini, who celebrated her 69th birthday yesterday, has revealed that she shares a beautiful relationship with her step-sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol.

Hema, who was present at the launch of her biography titled ‘Beyond The Dream Girl’, said that people have always been curious about what type of relationship she shares with Sunny and Bobby.

“Everyone wonders what kind of a relationship we (Sunny and I) are having. It is very beautiful and cordial. Whenever it is necessary he (Sunny) is always there, along with Dharamji, especially when this accident happened," she said during the event.

The actress-turned-politician also shared that when she met with a road accident near Dausa in Rajasthan in 2015, Sunny was the first one to come and see her at home.

“Sunny was the first person to come and see me at home and he saw that the right doctor is there for the stitches that were done on my face. I was really taken aback to see him showing so much interest. That shows what kind of a relationship we are having,” noted Hema.

Hema Malini’s biography has been written by Ram Kamal Mukherjee. The book is divided into 23 chapters.

The biography was launched by actor Deepika Padukone in the presence of Malini's family, including daughters Esha and Ahana Deol with their respective husbands.
