Vishal Malhotra had fun learning football for new film 'Tu Hai Mera Sunday'

Tu Hai Mera Sunday revolves around five friends who struggle to find place to play football in Mumbai.

MUMBAI: Actor Vishal Malhotra says it was fun to learn a new sport for his forthcoming film "Tu Hai Mera Sunday". 

Vishal is know for his roles in "Hip Hip Hurray", "Ishq Vishk", "Jannat" and for hosting Indian Premier League (IPL). 

The film is about five friends who struggle to find place to play football in Mumbai. "Tu Hai Mera Sunday" is associated with the Juhu Beach United. The members of this football club guided the cast with football tricks and techniques. 

"I am not a football player but when I was offered this film, I loved the story and decided to take it. But there are lots of scenes in the film where I will be seen playing football, hence I thought why not learn a new sport," Vishal said in a statement. 

The film is releasing on October 6.
